Brotherhood & Legacy
A local fraternity built on lifelong friendships, principled leadership, and service — 180+ brothers strong since 1996.
Our Story
Three roommates and a handshake — Geneseo since 1996.
Kappa Delta Chi was founded in the spring of 1996 by three roommates in Onondaga Hall who wanted a brotherhood that would outlast graduation. They wrote their own bylaws, picked their letters over a weekend, and pledged nothing to a national office. Thirty years later the three founding lines are still growing.
Today KDX is a self-governed local fraternity of about forty actives, with alumni across New York and beyond who still come back for homecoming.
Three lines
The founders drew straws for who would pledge first. The one who lost still tells the story at every initiation.

We bring individuals together to form friendships that outlast college — a network you carry for life.
Leadership & Growth
Brothers sharpen their leadership and communication through real responsibility, on campus and beyond.
Service & Community
We commit to philanthropy that benefits our members, our campus, and the Geneseo community.
Recognized Excellence
